Recreational Trimix / Advanced Recreational Trimix

The IANTD recreational trimix course is being offered here at Cave Dive Florida.

What is it: This course leads to an IANTD certification for the recreational use of trimix. The maximum depth for the training and certification is 160 feet.

What equipment do you need: You can use all of your own standard equipment that you normally use. There is no requirement for special equipment as there is for the extended range trimix certification courses.

Pre-requisites: Divers must be Advanced Open water certified as well as Nitrox. The Advanced Nitrox class can be taken in conjunction with the recreational trimix course.

The advantages for using Helium are a reduction in breathing resistance because Helium is a less dense gas and greatly reduced inert gas narcosis.

4 Dives are required over 2 days.
